As the largest performance hall in the Outaouais region, Salle Odyssée is an iconic cultural venue that hosts a vast program of professional shows every year. DLS Construction carried out a complete renovation, including the removal of seating, the refurbishment of the epoxy floor, and the installation of specialized carpeting in the lobby. A second mandate involved the complete renovation of the dressing rooms: creation of new functional spaces such as a makeup room, a kitchen, a small lounge, and custom-made furniture. The project presented several technical challenges, including the use of specialized materials designed for performance venues, such as a self-healing floor for the stage and acoustic solutions ensuring optimal sound diffusion. All work had to be completed within extremely tight deadlines, as shows were scheduled in advance, allowing no margin for error.
