A central hub of student cultural life, the Cégep de l’Outaouais auditorium hosts numerous school and community events every year. To give it a contemporary visual signature, DLS Construction carried out the complete refurbishment of its lobby. The work highlighted a carefully chosen combination of materials, wood, gypsum, and integrated lighting, to create a warm and modernized space. The main challenge of the project was the technical complexity of the ceiling: it featured multiple levels and a large architectural curve that required precise execution, both in the alignment of materials and the harmonization of finishes.
