The Canadian Museum of History, located on the banks of the Ottawa River, is one of the country's most visited cultural institutions. Galleries E and F, used for temporary exhibitions, underwent a major redevelopment to host a new, large-scale exhibition. DLS Construction proceeded with the demolition of the old floor, the installation of a raised floor to accommodate wiring, the construction of new exhibition walls, and the complete upgrade of the ceiling lighting. Although the job site might appear simple, the main challenge lay in the level of requirement: in a museum context, the quality of execution and protection measures must be impeccable. Added to this was a strict schedule constraint, as the exhibition was already planned, with no possibility of postponing the opening.
